Holi is around the corner, the shops are decorated with colorful pichkaris and vibrant holi colors. This has always been my favorite festival along with Diwali. If Diwali has Chaklis and Karanjis, Holi has Gujiyas and Thandai….
Thandai has always been a must on Holi but this time I am giving it a modern twist but with all its goodness and flavour intact…. infact better!
Freak Shakes these days are so much in demand that I decided to make one for Holi but with an Indian Twist.
This bright and colourful Freak Shake infused with Thandai, Kesar Pista Ice Cream, Kesar Syrup, Motichoor and Jalebi…designed to have you and your guest drooling.
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 scoop Kesar Pista Icecream
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Thandai syrup
- 1/2 cup Whipped cream
- 2 tbsp Kesar Elaichi syrup
- 1 Motichoor Laddu
- 3/4 Jalebis
- Almond and Pista slivers for garnish
Crush the Motichoor laddu. Dip the mouth of the Mason Jar in the Kesar Elaichi syrup and coat it evenly. Apply the crushed Motichoor laddu on it. Keep it in the fridge to chill.
Blend together the Kesar Pista ice cream, chilled milk, thandai syrup and sugar.
Remove the mason jar from the fridge and pour the thandai in it. Spoon in the whipped cream. Drizzle the Kesar Elaichi syrup on it. Place the Jalebis on it. Garnish with Almond and Pista slivers.
